Easy to make 4th Gen F-body's loud?

I keep hearing all over the different car audio sites that its very easy to make a F-body 'knock' or be very loud. I'm curious as to why this is, is it because of the shape of the rear hatch, the size of the interior, or what. The reason I'm asking this is because I'm planning on buying 2 RE Audio 12" SE subs (powered by an Orion 1200D amp) and was wondering if they'd be loud while retaining their SQ properties.

Yeah, the fact that the car is a little hatchback (sort of), it helps with the acoustics....
