I have 2 12" Kicker Competition subs in factory ported box and a kicker 750.1 mono amp.
I was driving down the road with the music on low and all the sudden there was no bass via subs but the sound was still playing thru just the stock system. I checked the fuses first and all looked good. Second I checked the connections everywhere and they were all tight and the ground is to bare metal in my trunk. Third, I pulled the headunit to check that the RCA's were still connected and they were. Everything is wired properly but it just quit while listening to music one day.
I used a multimeter and checked the + & - at the sub box and it was just over 2 ohms so that's good. After leaving the car running, I realized the amp protection light would make a faint clicking noise and the light would flash once about every 10-30 seconds while i had the radio on at about a volume of 5. Should I disconnect something while I'm not testing it and just driving to ensure nothing else becomes damages? Any suggestions from here? Thanks in advance
