No sound from subs any ideas?? Plz help just got this setup

WEll this is my first time using this setup just got my box in today amp is JBL GTO 14001 sub JBL W15GTI MKII HU is alpine 9887... now i get power to the amp its not in protect mode the subwoofer setting is set to on in the HU but i cant get any sound from the subwoofer at all im pretty sure evrything was wired correctly i even swapper out rcas and changed positive and negs around a few times and no sound.. is there a setting in the HU im missing or THE HPF and LPF off or something i got LPF set @ 80 i think and hpf around 30hz what my box is...

Check the remote wire @ the hu and the amp...

yea sub on in heeadunit aND IM SURE THE REMOTE IS WORKING BCUZ i have a kciker 4 channel also tht has the rmeote wire and i run another one from the jbl amp to the kicker amp.

I have this same problem at the moment with the same head unit. I have sound but very little. I wonder if we are missing something at the head unit? Let me you know what you work out and ill do the same.
