no output from sub

i unno maybe but like even when i was screwing around with it all i had gain on full and like got veryy little on the sub what would be a good lpf setting if mine is from 30hz-250 ssf 15hz-35hz bb-0 and then on my hu i have the hpf off-50,63,80,100, and 125 hz what shoud i set to.

thanks guys for the help i jjust was out playing around with the settings on my amp listening to a normal track and got voltage up to about mid 30's so i just left if and im getting lotsa output from the sub. sounds wayyy louder then my last amp too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif but i still wanna know how not setting the lpf and the ssf wont allow a voltage readout on the speaker terminals.

because low pass filters means just that. u probably got it set too low. say that u play a 50hz tone but your lpf is set at 30hz. that means your amp or hu isnt going to play anything beyond 30hz. the ssf is pretty much the same thing i think. if your ssf is at 15 hz, your amp isnt going to play anything below 15hz. u should also correctly set ur amp so it dont fry.
