either way u look at it...that storm (which i went through fully) was going to **** anything up that it came to, even 100 miles from the coast where i live. politics should stick to the war and help us get our country back to full form. they are not leetting any troops go across seas, they have pulled back all operations that were going to happen and they are opening up the reserve of oil/gasoline so we can have some type of fuel to run about and get necessities with. saudi arabia is pushin more crude oil and venezuela is actually helping. if u didnt go through it SHUT THE **** UP....PERIOD

I still don't understand why people around the country are amazed that coastal areas have destruction when hurricanes come. Furthermore, I don't see how people still stay in the city when they are told DAYS in advance that there is a hurricane coming. I live in TN and we have tornados in the spring. We are lucky to have a one hour advance notice. One hour vs. 3 days. I am not being mean, but it is something beyond my capacity to understand. If the people who stayed are all stormchasers, then that makes sense because they are doing a noble cause, risking life and limb for the advancement of science.

I am as democrat as they come but I don't blame the weather on the president, that is absurd. I also am glad that he is opening up the reserves, to try to prevent hysteria and price gouging (which should be even more price gouging). As for the politicans of NO using levee money to line their own pockets, please back all such statements up with empiracle evidence derived from academic journals, not something you heard from someone that watches Fox News or something.
