To sum up this worthless thread...
1.) Keep the RL-P!

2.) Put it in a ported box

3.) Turn the gains down with a multimeter so that it only see 800-1000 watts

I don't know why you would waste your money on a sub that can barely make an audible difference in this case. Whats the point of sending a sub 1200 watts if you can get the same sound with 500? **** i hate when noobs think that power handling is the end all spec to go by.
With 1200 watts it should hit like 12745 dbzzzzzzzz!!! My perfect was only getting 300 and it hit hard!!! I dont think the rl-p could sound good off only 600 watts! The more wattage the better!!!!
