To sum up this worthless thread...

1.) Keep the RL-P!

2.) Put it in a ported box

3.) Turn the gains down with a multimeter so that it only see 800-1000 watts

I don't know why you would waste your money on a sub that can barely make an audible difference in this case. Whats the point of sending a sub 1200 watts if you can get the same sound with 500? **** i hate when noobs think that power handling is the end all spec to go by.

so are the tech. specs on the new xxx going to be the same, is it purely cosmetic, or are they down-grading it like the brahma? i just tried calling twice and of course no one answered.

I just called RE to see what the price was, and the guy told me they are remodeling them and won't have any more XXX's available until 2 months!!!
