No more Mustang for 08

I can do the 150mph //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif But have to wait on the 150db's:(
LOL yeah mine topped out at like 147mph when it was stock, but now i know it will do all of 150 has alot more power! And I was thinking of doing a SCT computer tuneing, be bad *** with a lap hooked to my ecm and the TL!!!!

I had 275's on the back of my 06 and had 411's in it and made it all winter here in Colorado. It wasn't fun but it was doable. Only got stuck once
My 06 with the stock 235 17s got around fine bought that car in Jan 2006, ordered it new when i was a tech for ford, but my 03 supercharged gt 5spd with 245s sucked, these cars a lot lighter in the rear then the 05 and up, and they dont weigh as much either!

05+ are big fat heavy pigs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I have a SCT in my car now! great chip just need more tuning options with the new supercharger.
This mustang wont ever be supercharged, i just want a lil more, maybe switching out the stock 3:27s for 3:73s because ill have around 400 extra lbs in the truck by the time the 4 10s and 2 amps and batts and all that, but need it to look better, and have a lil more get up and go, but right now im pretty happy with the PI head and intake swap, got a pair of 2002 PI heads with 21,000miles off ebay for $240 bucks, cheap, and then got BBK ceramic headers, still have the factory intake with just a K&N filter..lol.. but happy with it untill the extra weight, and thats why im only lowering the front!! But I can get SCTs cheaper than everything else, threw my buddy, but the diablo predetor is really good for the Stangs to i had one for my 03 S/C stang!

lol..there bigger and heavier but not to bad yet, just like the fbodys the are around the same weight!
I was really disappointed in my mustang, sold it within a year. Beautiful car, pitiful performance for stock with just a few upgrades (4.11's, tuner, intake). 5k feet altitude didn't help either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

lol...Yeah i like my mustangs theres endless things you can do to them performance wise, im a chevy truck guy, but love my mustangs!

Heres a lil video of my mustang just 25min ago, camera taped to the steering wheel, lil to much wheel spin lol, and that was a baby launch, and this is going up hill, but still not to bad for being mostly stock with very minor bolt ons! That was a 2000rpm lauch on new 275 BFs! to spendy to be doing that

(PS: The noise you hear as the car is slowing down is a front right wheel bearing, went out a few weeks ago)

Da*n the weather, suppose to snow here all week starting tonight, big system coming, sleet, ice, snow, winds... that means its time to put my mustang gt away for the winter, im sad, anybody else like this?
What year?

I say you just throw some chains on it and go at it.

1997 GT 5spd, no no..I love my cars, they dont get driven in snow, unless its very little! My 1999 Firehawk, has never seen snow, the original owner stored it, i stored it, and the owner now stores it, my 350z and 300ZX TT was fun in the snow...YEAH RIGHT, the 350z was the scariest thing on a wet day lol!

Nice, I wouldn't mind having an older mustang to play around with. I had a stroker longblock ready to go in my 06 then decided I didn't really want to tear into a new car with less than 10k miles on it. Sold both the car and longblock off.

Uhh. I wouldn't.

After-market computer tuning is rough on motors. It shortens the engine's life considerably. Unless you're just going to slightly alter the chart. But, if that's the case, why waste the money?

P.S. Nice cars. I have a SN-95 V6. First thing I'm gunna do to it is put in a T-5 (Since it's auto now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif), then either a 4.0 or 4.6 (with a rear end to match), eventually, later on when I have another car... I want to put a 5.4L TRITON! aka v6er, super charge it VIA Prostreet charger, and keep the stock look, maybe an aftermarket hood to fit the 5.4L...

So kids will LOL at my V6.

'til they hear it roar.

But this is far in the future. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

You have good taste in cars.

Specially the 300ZX TT. I was looking into buying a 300ZX II TT T-Top. Converting it to Targa Top, and rebuilding the internals with some higher forged ish.

I don't trust Nissan.

Yeah i had orginally planned on rippin the stock 4.6 out and either doing a 347 stroker or a 5.4L S/C swap, but now going for the Iowa Trunk Car record with it, and still being able to have a lil fun when a punk pulls up beside me with his v6 camaro and 2 10" sonys, ill out bump and out run his ***!!
