I have heard from a few people that the carpet in a vehicle "dampens" the noise a little bit as in makes it not as loud. Since i have a POS ride and will be getting a new one soon, i have taken all the panels/carpet out of the trunk and rear seat. Would it be worth removing all the carpet on the floor and the passenger seat?
My ride is suprisingly loud with 1 10" treo ssi with only 340rms from my TMA @ 4ohm in a very nice ported box. What are some other things i could do to make it louder without spending any money. I know i could "wall" off the trunk, but i dont want to waste MDF if i am scraping the ride soon.
Any ideas?
