I am stumped on this issue right now. I have no balance from left and right in my car. I am running (2) Kicker IX500.4s bridged, one for the mids, and one for the horns. Inputs and outputs are all hooked up correctly. Fader button is not pressed in. It is almost like I am running a mono signal, balance from left and right does almost nothing. Just a very tiny decrease in volume across.

That's because you have the amps in bridged mode, aka MONO mode. The reason why your balance "barely" works(probably just change the volume a bit?) is because the amp is summing both left and right signals.

Rehook the speakers with the amp in stereo mode. Nice Eldo.

you could put your left front and rear on one amp and right front and rear on each amp but than you'll lose fade capabilities.

Even with the amps bridged, I should retain l/r capabilities. I could easily put the whole front stage on one amp, but 75watts to my mids is joke and 35ish watts to my horns is ok, but I really prefer extreme overhead on the horns to eliminate noise 100%. (Even a perfect install with horns has noise if you don't have overhead, they are just too efficient).

You have a few issues:

I have done this with a few setups so I will try to explain.

If you bridge it and just use the input sections Left and Right labled AMP1 that = both sides (AMP1 + AMP2) will be mono. But... If you get yourself a RCA spliter and split one left RCA into two left RCAs and do the same for the right RCA, then you can achieve a stereo bridge. So basically, Amp1 input will be left, and Amp2 input will be right... You have to pay attention to what you do because it can get confusing. especially if your going to do this to two amplifiers.
