My Home Audio/Theater stuffs...

This has been an ongoing project. I have had my Ascendant audio Arbiter TM's for over 2 years... and I've had them in various enclosures with various xovers. Including temporary use with some random *** Boston Pro 6.x crossovers that I got for free.

The cabinets have been bought at the Parts Express tent sales and scratch/dent for over 80% off at different times...

Anyways, it's finally done... for the time being. Other than the cabinets, that were blank face pre-fabs, I built everything myself. The TV stand entertainment center, the center channel, the subwoofer, the stands, the crossovers for my mains, etc, etc... Many thanks to joetama for the excellent xover design for my mains! They're now bi-amped!

Equipment:

- Olevia 37" HD LCD

- Onkyo TX-SR605 Receiver (upconvert/upscaling, HDMI 1.3switching, 7channels of amplifier output)

- Power Sentry Theatre Director - Surge Protector, Line Conditioner, and UPS for Home Theater

- OPPO DV-981HD 1080p High Definition Up-Converting Universal DVD Player with HDMI (courtesy of EhRon at the moment... many thanks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif).

- Scientific Atlanta 8300HDC HD-DVR CableBox (P.O.S.)

- Custom Entertainment center/stand.

- 2way Mains bi-amped. Featuring Ascendant Audio Poly Mids and Vifa XT-25 tweeters. Custom xovers by G7S audio, built by me. (Measured, Researched, Designed by JoeTama). The cabinets are ~.6cubes after all displacements, with a single flared 1.75" port, tuned to ~43hz.

-1way center channel. Featuring a pair of CSS FR125S full-range 4.5" XBL^2 drivers in ~.45 cubes ported @~50hz

-2way surrounds featuring Ascendant Audio Poly Mids and 1" Vifa Textile Dome tweeters. Boston Pro6.x crossovers.

- Sound Splinter Rl-i 12" subwoofer (TC2+) in 1.2 cubes sealed downfiring. Powered by BASH 500watt plate amplifier.

Goods, I like them better! Cut down on the reflections big time, I still think the boxes are a little too big. Considering putting another layer of the egg-crate in just the rear chamber behind the brace...

Pretty nice there. But comcast cable ftl. There customer service sucks. I'd know. I used to work there.
