Hello all! The owner of the car is 16 years old, just started to get involved in auto sound.

Components:

- Mid-range dynamics Deaf Bonce DB-MX60;

- Mid-range speakers Hannibal X6C;

- High-frequency drivers / Hannibal HLG-25NEO;

- Single-channel amplifier Machete M800D;

- 4-channel amplifier Ural AK 4.90;

- Two-channel amplifier of sound power TEAC TE-A275;

- Passive subwoofer Machete Sport M12D2 from Alphard.

Dayum....had more audio than I did when I was 16. Hell even now.
sponsored demo build.

it's about quality not quantity. listen to the doors play at 3:00. ear piecing loudness. Alphard had very good marketing but good marketing is not a substitute for decades of R&D. THey are trying to make SQ components too now but the truth is all their stuff is just generic chinashit packaged in a nice box..They got really big in Russia because owners are Russian, and are trying to spread to USA now but I'm just warning you guys.

They do make pretty good subs and somewhat decent monoblocks I believe. But their speakers are ****.

Which is pretty much the business model of the industry outside of what you buy at a big box store.

Anyway. Look at the shape of that car. That thing is probably very meter-friendly.

you mean it IS the business model of big box stores? Everything that's profitable to make in china IS made in china and stamped with a custom label.

If I wanted to be as loud as possible I'd get some 18sound 6nd410, and if I wanted pure SQ i'd get morel components or something. Just saying there's companies with in house R&D and manufacturing that actually deserve the money(faital pro, 18sound, eminence, P audio, etc etc) They make ONLY speakers, then there's companies that make ONLY amps. ALways better to deal with specialists than jacks of all trades

I am not doubting Alphard sub's ability to reach high DB's but it's not like they have a major advantage over other brands.

The reason it's gonna be hard for them to get a foothold in the american market is because noobs here are gonna head straight go to BEstbuy/Walmart for their subs, but in Russia the big box store only sells the shittiest of the shiit subs, worse than Sony Xplod, so Alphard is kinda the famous brand that kids get. Anybody that knows their stuff won't even look their way. You can't fool deez veterans.

All the largest brands do their own R&D. Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, JL. Rockford, Kicker, Harmon Group; which is primarily what you find in a big box store. I'm pretty confident none of them are just farming out off-the-shelf China designs for anything except perhaps their absolute bottom entry level. Even then they have the economy of scale and clout to have some exclusivity in what they have built overseas and I suspect the biggest names own their own production in the Far East.

The Alphard is as good as any of the other "brands" that people on this forum get excited about IMO. Seems to me like they get some pretty rugged woofers and buy good Korean amps. They're likely missing Precision coils, but if they assemble in-house they can probably do as good or better as anybody.

The problem I see, is as you said, they don't offer anything that you can't get under a dozen other "brand" names so what will set them apart here in the states? Doubt they can compete on price considering many of these "brands" are one guy in his garage or guys who come from money (and/or lose money) so you're not going to win the race to zero and keep a profitable business.

Look at the MSRP of DD, IA, and Sundown. Not like their cost on stuff is any more than anybody else's but that's the price point you need to be to run a real business.

a major issue my buddy and most team alphard members had was poor suspension and torn tinsel leads with the deafbounce 3 subs.

So poor parts, poor build quality, or abuse, or all of the above?
all of the above. Sub looks nice at first glance but when performing, the tinsels dont last if you hammer whale notes vs other subs they've used. For normal music i'd say the subs are fine. The team members all made that issue clear to Vladimir so pretty sure he'll address it to alphard corporate, it should be fixed.

Building woofers to survive extreme abuse is a learning curve. Hope they sort it out. There seems to be a lot of interest in db Drag in Russia lately so it's nice that they have access to the same tier stuff we have here in the west.

This not Alphard democar)

The guy collected everything himself, with his own money.

He only learn, so this assembly, by the summer promises to collect better.

If there is a video, I'll take off the link here)

I noticed on my DB3 subs that the tinsel leads are easy to scrap when mounting the subs. This could have been an possible issue. But I had no issues with mine what so ever but I didnt play low because my cabin had a nasty roll off after 28ish.
