i was wondering if any of the members here race or backyard bacs rc cars. if so post pic's or anything.

me personally i have to xxx-nt's. both with .15 engines (os & picco), both have the aluminum rc trix set-up with the aftershock also. i will post photo's soon.

I tried it twice and both times spend way too much money and got out of it.

The first time was with a HPI RS4 racer then I decided to get a HPI Savage. The first engine went down on the Savage so I upgraded to a 3hp .28 engine, loads of torque able to lift the front wheels with a touch of the throttle.

Out the game for good now, way to expensive and to hard keeping them running.

i had tons of r/c cars.. way too much money, cause they broke alot.. my tmax was bad *** and i put a bigger motor on it and it flew

I got a Nitro RS4 SS, a Nitro Ruslter, and a Stampede. I really want to get a Savage next spring.

Just got it last week those are the photos I got from him, I will take some of my own. I traded for it because i thought they raced them around here. No go in my area. Close to me they do electric and its a 45 min drive so I just listed this up on a hobby site for sale to get a losi xxx special edition one some guy at the hobby shop has for sale. I use to race electric years ago in long island but around here theres not much into rc.

my last was a 1/8 kyosho infero DX-II (poor mans Mp-5) .21 OS motor, shaft 4WD. It was fun but i fell away from it. I still have the thing because i can't bring myself to sell it. Here's a pic of it after some mudding:

i'm selling my 2 xxx-nt's, not that i dont want them just have a new machine and i would like to replace the old with new. bought a menace, and some add-ons. 70+ out the box 3 gears... this thing is faster than my car..LMAO no really...lol

i was going to buy either a revo or a tmaxx. i almost got a brand new tmaxx for $200, complete, but the guy flaked. so i got a power programmer for my truck instead. i was going to ask for one for christmas, but i just got an xbox 360 instead.

was going to buy an r/c helicopter, but my friend that has one breaks something every time he flys it and it's too dam expensive. Cool stuff though- I can't believe how expensive that nitro is, and those cars use it fast!

speaking of the nitro, when i got this the other day, i didnt think nothing of it once i got home from buying fuel cleaned out the tank and lines etc got it ready to run. I had the throttle set run it fired up and was running higher then idle and in about 10 seconds my room stunk to hell, the smell these things give off is soo strong. I wont be doing that again lol I thought my birds and dog was gona die from it lol. Had to open up all the windows and sht

Never had a nitro car. Started with nitro planes and am now strictly electric. Electric is the way to go. =) Still have a bunch of planes, one micro heli and some xmods. I kept one nitro plane because I love the sound and smell.

I'm more of a go-kart man
