Hey guys wats up?I ve been out of the car audio scene for a while. But im in the process of researchin for a new system for my nissan titan crew cab. I was hopin u guys could make some suggestions. I need a hu(indash dvd), subs(that are good in small space probbably gona b under my back seat. I have an mtx thunder 6500d mono amp 800 w @2ohms. Also should i go sealed or ported? thanks for all ur help guys. P.S. budget $1200

I was looking at this kenwood

thats a nice headunit, never used it but i like kenwoods.

maybe go with some shallow mount subs? Image Dynamics? ED has some 3inch depth subs coming out.

1 type R should sound good off 800watts.

plus its cheap and will stay in ur budget.

hey my local dealer was telln me bout arc audio any good? also my dealer told me to go w either 2 10s or 1 12 in a really good prefab box, cuz they said a sealed down firing box is to hard to make is this true? thanks joe

i dont think down firing would be too hard if u know what your doing, but i see them on ebay for dirt cheap

100 bucks and its built for you. a name brand prefab at a local shop will be more then that.

run it with 2 Image Dynamics ID10 or IDQ10s, and keep the gains low on your amp and you will have a nice setup. or you can get the ARC Audio clones(almost identical to the IDQs i believe)
