Nissan GTR is king of the hill

I like the GTRs, got to drive one and definately loved the launch control and the overall car. I did get to drive a modded GT500 shelby and once i got the launch down on that i didnt wanna go back to the GTR( and ive had mostly imports). Even with the mods the shelby was like $15k less than the GTR too. Also to note, with the suspension mods they did the shelby handled very well too. I was shocked in how well i liked the Shelby. Drove my customers Aston Martin Vantage a few weeks later after that, was a fun month of driving cars lol. Still had the window sticker in the glove it showed $127k...

Sorry I didn't read the entire thread but if we want to compare cars then compare them apples to apples. How would the GT-R compare to a fully restored matching numbers '68? Price would be the same if the Camaro didn't cost more.
your kidding right?

Let me know when you realize I didnt nuthug anything. lol I stated a fact, which you cant dispute, which is why you are instead going off on this ridiculous tangent. You'd rather argue a point I never made, than admit you misunderstood what I originally said. Check your ego at the door, its serving you no good purpose here.
yes you do, nostalgia creeps into 90% of your post.

also I don't think I would like owning a gtr, every time you win a race you will hear, '' it was the car, if I had my **** I'd kill you"

I'd get a 04 cobra and put a kenne belle on it and beat the gtr and spend 50+k less //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

with 20psi you would be running so lean you would blow the motor. 20psi on a 4.6 you will need to do ignition and fuel work. Then you have the problem of wheel hop destroying the half shafts. And if all of that is done you may pull a head from a roll but after the first corner the gtr will destroy you.

which means, 20k+ for the car, 7k for the ken belle, 1500 for the half shafts, 2k for the fuel/ignition

and you still have a car that is worth less then it was stock, if you don't believe me check the forums. an It will still lose to a gtr on a road course.

I was talking to the people who is saying the with the right amount if money any classic car could compete. If you buy a fully restored '68 with matching number you are looking around the same price tag as a GT-r if not more.
