IMO, now a days, I do not consider a 12 sec. car fast. There are WAY to many off the show room floor cars that are running 12's.

We are currently working on a TRD blower for the V8's in the Lexus IS-F and GS460's. The mock up that we have on the GS now, with minimal tuning has

this 4000lbs car averaging 12.4's....with no other mods. With more tuning, exhaust and some suspension work, this LUXURY sedan will be capable of 11 sec 1/4 runs and with the KDSS sport suspension option, it will out handle just about anything in its class.

Now, when this is finished, it will be adapted to the IS-F which already can run in the mid to low 12's. There is heavy potential for a 10sec, 4 door luxury car. And both cars will retain the full interior, a/c, and interior quietness. Oh ya, and retain the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ price tag.....lol

Like I said before guys, keep in mind....they are just cars.

I admire any car, weather I like the car or not, that someone has put time and effort into to make it something.

 
When you start going below 12's, traction usually becomes a problem on 'normal' street cars. Serious turbo lag can help this, but it would really take some work to make a 4-door street car with street tires run 10's.

12's is still fast.

12s are fast, especially when you take into account the power needed to achieve that.
