Nissan 2013 Quest Navigation Add-On

For some ungodly reason my wife is sold on buying a 2013 nissan quest, i'm trying to talk her out of the navigation unit, since it is an extra 2 or 3 g's. The van does have an 8" screen that looks to be capable of displaying a map, but obviously there is no hard drive with the GPS application. Anyone know if i can buy an add-on GPS that will display on this screen without compromising the use of other items on the screen?

Nav TV offers an add-on Garmin navigation package for Nissans, however it's still $1800 not including install.

the forum won't let me post the link, but nav-tv sells this as well, but only $799
