I ordered the NINe.5 as well. I've been running mine for about 2 weeks now and I love it. Yes it's large but it's better than having two amps I think (unless they were PDX's or those new JL's)

I've got mine running my Focal 165V1's off the front two channels and I have the sub channel wired down to 1 ohm for 600RMS....going to four 6.5" Tang Bands //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I gotta say, I'm very impressed with the amp so far. The extra power REALLY brings the Tang Bands to life. Last weekend Mir burned me a copy of the new Jack Johnson CD and it sounds like perfection. The I never realized how much cleaner the subs would be with the extra power. They are no where near their limits and they sound incredible. My Focals have a ton more midbass with the extra power too. Jntar said he could feel the air they were moving coming from where the window goes down into the door. I thought my doors were solid before and I had OVER deadened....I was wrong. I have my work cut out for me.

Mir, you gotta hear the setup with the new amp on that new Jack CD. I've got it tuned pretty well now and CD quality is leaps and bounds over the MP3's we were listening to.

Nine.5 crew holla, had mines since november 07, think the first on caraudio lol. A guy with an olliscope said that he benched the amp at 1 ohms, with the big 3, he was getting over 900rms to his sub.

Underrated, not sure, i think Meglo should do some major testing lol

Holy Hell....if that's true and I'm running close to 900RMS on those Tang Bands; wouldn't that be something? :lol:

Either way, I'm very satisfied with the amp and I'm looking forward to going active with a different set of components when I find something that I like.

notice the album has a lot of tape hissing, gives it a bit of character i guess, not a bad thing anymore now that i understand it. it was done on purpose.(I think). sure maybe next show we can compare sound stages //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif lil SQ brawl.

^let me know what you're results are. I wanted to bench the amp before I got it in but i just didn't have the time to hunt someplace down to do it. My roomate said the engineering department has a $5,000 o-scope but it would be a pain to get clearance to use it for that. And we would have to get a power source too.

I can hear the tape his a little bit but it's not that bad. I agree it gives it some character. I mostly hear it out of the right side, maybe I'm imagining that though. The rest of it is so clear it's worth it. The first time I heard it I wanted to cry.
