NINE.1 or sae-1200

I have read many threads where pople state that the nine.1 does over rated power, however they do not care for the company. how does Sundowns sae line differ from the saz?
The lines are built in different locations, different designs, the SAZ is a little more over built and can take higher voltage and lower ohm loads.

I think im going to cancel my order on the nine.1, and get the sae-1200d. higher efficiency and customer service FTW
Good luck.

I've personally not ran the SAE, although friends have.

The SAE series from Sundown is not, from my understanding, a Zenon built board. It's a Chinese board, if I'm not mistaken(someone please verify this...Jacob?)

It will do 1200w RMS at 1ohm around 14v, it will not do 1500+

ED has horrible service and reputation. The Nine.1 is a great amplifier - I loved the one I had a while back, and they're also strong amplifiers.

Go for whichever is cheaper. Sundown will have better CS, the Nine.1 will do more power and (I think they still do it???) has a 5 year warranty?? Not sure if they still do, but I know that ED used to offer a 5year man warranty with the amplifier.

the nine.1 is chinese also. the sae-1200 does 1500 at 14 volts jacob said
Dont know about the SAE doing 1500w RMS, cant really comment for sure here. The only reason I brought up Chinese production here is to state that it's not the same line of amplifier as the SAZ series.

gotcha. i would prefer the SAZ but its out of my price range. i want a good amp that does 1200-1500 mono and the nine.1 is starting to not look as good to me as it did when i ordered it

The SAE-1200D model is capable of 1500+ watts -- it's a very powerful amp. It is in a lower line from the SAZ-1500D as it will not run over 15v, is not strapping capable, and was not designed to run below 1 ohm.

i wanted to buy a sae1200 today but the price went up? ssa still shows it as 250 shipped
