Yeah. I'm getting it for $25, meeting the guy half way.

If it works well, sand it down, give it a nice coat of paint. And, if anything, resell it.

That series of profiles are my favs. Very good budget amp and do close to rated power. IMO the best amps profile ever made.

Waiting for this guy to email me, or else I'll call him tomorrow and try to set up a meeting. I should have it by this weekend. We'll see if it works.

EDIT:: Any suggestions for paint? Should I use spray-can type of paint or what?

Those and the white ones before them. IIRC the rms was usually half of the claimed peak power. I remember in highschool circa98 one of my friends had a california 1200. The thing was a surfboard. He had it on 2 10w1 in an 81 civic hatch. That thing was loud for the money spent

I had the 1200sx as well quite a few years back. that thing was huge lol. really good old school amp though. I actually just sold another 1200sx a few months ago, they pop up on ebay every now and then.

I did the math, and I think, with out doing too much math that is, this thing will give me 250-300 RMS @ 8. Which means I might be able to run my 15 with it. Which would be ballin'.

But, regardless, this thing is getting painted flat black and it will be ballin'.
