I'm not fond of Hasek's flops either but all in all he had a good series.

And after all the dirty play by Calgary the Red Wings still whooped their *****. The high stick on Holmstrom, putting in a back up goalie so he could take a baseball swing at a Detroit player and other dirty shit did them absolutely NO good. In fact, the Calgary organization and the coach were both fined. Back up goalie was also suspended. They're still going to be sitting home watching the rest of the playoffs.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Whats best about this is they beat them in Calgary. A place where the Flames were very tough to beat. As it turns out, the Red Wings were and ARE the tougher team at home.

All in all, I'm very glad to see them put the Flames in their place. They were, by far the most dangerous team in the playoffs when you consider they barely made the playoffs. I don't think any of the other teams wanted to play them, including Detroit.

Next its either Dallas or San Jose.

If the Flames didn't have Kipper, every game would have been a blow out. Red Wings outplayed them everywhere. Kipper stood on his head in net.

San Jose blew right through Nashville just like Detroit did the last month of the reg. season. Detroit went 6 with Calgary and San Jose went 5 with Nashville. Holmstrom and Lebda are out for game 1 due to Calagary's dirty play. They should be banned from post season next year if you ask me. Oh well, time to move on. This series could very well go 7 games. San Jose doesn't have as good of a netminder as Calgary but they're better than Calgary in every other way.
