Theres a thread for just about every other sport so why not HOCKEY.

The Red Wings came back with 3 third period goals to beat the Rangers tonight. That is their 9th comeback win this season which is tops in the league.

game wasn't on in my area. i like how the red wings are flying under the radar this year. i still don't know if they have what it takes to win in the playoffs.

do those standings include detroit's win tonight? i thought they pulled within 3 of nashville?

Yes those include tonight's win. They are now within 3 points of the Western Conference leading (and Cental Division leading) Predators. It's also hard to believe after the AWESOME start the Ducks had this year that the Red Wings just went 2 points ahead of them. This isn't a great Red Wings team we're accustomed to but yet there they are in the upper echelon again. Being a younger team I guess you could say they have better LEGS for the post season. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

i just got back from the forum. there were about 6-7 of the top lightning players there signing autographs and shit so me and the girl went. she nearly had an orgy waiting in line for brad richards autograph.

I'm not going to argue it. But I don't know if they will. They have a great record but remember most of those wins are because of the WEAK Eastern Conference. Don't get me wrong, Buffalo is a great team this year but you can't make that judgment based on their record. As a Red Wing fan I know this more than anyone else. A great regular season means DICK once the post season starts.

well its better than baseball, cuz all they do for baseball is stand around and sweat more from the sun than they do from physcial activity

better than basketball cuz in that sport a slap on the rist is a foul

and its slighty better than footballl cuz in football there is too much stop and go (but i still do like football)

hey i know, i just love my team with a passion, i was there when they lost the cup agaisnt dallas, ive been to every home game for the last 10 years..

in the playoffs, its really anyones game, but i do think they have the offensive fire power, the defense when they show up, and the 2 headed monster in goaltending.
