Cutler looking good...I still say they should be 1-1 and Detriot won that game....
And you'd still be wrong. The refs called the game right down the middle. Megatron should've put us away, and he nearly did, but in the end he didn't maintain control of the football. If Lovie hadn't had us in the "soft" prevent, it never would've happened in the first place.

When Detroit's coach went on record saying the call was correct, that should've ended this discussion. Rules are rules, even when they're a little vague or unpopular.

So it goes...

Agreed. Cutler needs 3 more td's as well. Running game needs to get going eventually
I'll take as many Cutler TD passes as I can get. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The running game won't do a thing until we can get sufficient help on the offensive line. That's fine with me, I'll take Forte's Marshall Faulk impersonation for now. I want to see Martz calling Taylor's # more often in short yardage situations, though...

Fins gonna take care of the JESTs Sunday night. No Revis....BMarsh is going to light up Antonio "Can't remember my kids names" Cromartie. Pace is out, R&R and that OL running it down their throat. Sanchez going to go back to week 1 play with fumbles and bad passes and Edwards won't start. Watch out for Wake on that right side.....

I feel like Chester is much more "decisive" back. Forte likes to analyze a bit too much before he hits the hole. Taylor is right to the whole and powering through it. The many 1 yard fails vs Detroit was well, pathetic.

There is no hole for Bears RB's, bro. Forte has proven that given an opportunity he can successfully run the ball. Taylor has done so as well. If either of them get help from the offensive line, they can be dangerous backs.

What I'm most excited about is the firing of Ron Turdner. It's amazing to see a Bears offense adjusting in-game. With Shithead, you never saw that. All the man did was ruin QBs. I still can't believe he was given another job in the NFL.

I realize there isn't much of a hole right now. And yes forte is a good back. I still feel that Taylor is a more decisive back. They obviously have different running styles. Taylor is a better third and short back. And yes Ron Turner's firing was key to our success this year. Sad to say, but true. I wish we still had Ron Rivera though. That man is a defensive genius.

I believe boldtothemax was referring to the fairness of the rule, not whether or not the ref technically made the correct call per the rules.
Using Detroit's coach's reply as testament isn't a good measuring stick to gauge the validity of the rule. Of course he stated the ref made the right call, in his position he had to. To have said anything else would have been called whining. He did what was politically and professionally correct, he backed the ref. Im not even saying that's why the coach said it, for all I know he likes the rule. But using his official stance/comment is not an unbiased answer. But that's all irrelevant anyway, because like I said above, I dont think bold was making an argument against the referee's judgment.
