the most "ricey" thing you can say i've done is change my cluster and interior lights to blue, however it looks oem....not an ebay gauge background bs stupid thing...

Actually, there's a small drifting community here in Miami and they drift RX-7's. But they're all stock exteriors... I've seen some with gutted interiors, though.

So, apparently, they aren't expensive enough to fly around a corner with. =P

Aren't 240's going up in price too because they're becoming rare?
Actually, 240's are rare in some places.

In Miami they aren't that common... an average 240sx in running condition is like 4-5K.

Ironic because my running Mustang is worth 3.5K on a good day.

lmao. Welded diffs are incredibly dangerous. If one wheel losses a little traction, BAM, you can spin out. But, 'tis the life of a drifter.

 
most of the ones I've seen aren't so riced out. They look like shit, but thats because the drifting crew doesn't care how it looks, just how it performs. They beef up the suspension, put in a roll cage, and drop in a RB26DETT or SR20DET and call it a day on a drift car. It's not too bad a setup.

welding the diff is stupid...he should have bought a full spool and been done with it:rolleyes:

1991 240sx, all options except leather and rear wheel steer.

Stillen stainless headers, 2.5 custom exhaust with 26"resonator and Cali turbo muffler-DTM tips.

SS water pump +15%flow, 160 thermostat, new radiator, new NGK plugs, Taylor wires, deleted emissions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

K&N cone filter on a z32 maf, going AEM intake tube to ported TB and long tube intake (hi torque)

28lb injectors from Mustang Cobra, Altima exhaust cam swap, .065 decked head, JWT ECU.

Tein S-Tech springs, Tokico HP dampers, Energy sway bar bushings/mounts, 300zx front brake upgrade w/ceramic pads all around

Shortened stock shifter with Hurst pistol grip shifter, HUD/digital dash, fairly clean, no burns

30% Bridgestone Potenza RE92 in front, 90% Pirelli P4000 in rear.

Minor body dmg to left front fender, not really noticable.

Needs rod bearings or crank---so cheap, I can deliver or you pick-up, make offer, all trades considered.

Yeah. There's this one crew around here called Aero-K... one of their cars doesn't have a bumper, and half the time it doesn't have the hood either... and someone took some Camo tape and taped the passenger side's front end... When they realized it they shrugged and said, "Now we can get the Red Necks to come to our events, maybe even give us a Bud!"

And BTW-- RB26DETT's are extremely rare in 240's. I mean, I've seen 1 or 2 kids with 'em, but they're expensive and wayy too much power to drift in a 240 unless you have it brimming with lard ases.

Now, a RB26DETT is a standard in the 300zx TT, which I wanna get my hands on so badly! I love Targa Tops. :[

My neighbor has a 300zx 2+2 TT... and it's just laying around his yard. I'm trying to get him to give it to me.

Stupid noob-*** lying kid, 300zx comes with a VG30DET up to 1990 and 91 and up has VG30DETT, a V-6, not inline.

Go look around more internet sites before you lie.
