Newsgroup/Usenet question

I am also kind of interested, I use torrents now which work fine but I am starting a media library and have have usenet > all.

Not sure if it is faster or what but I know there are some users here who have mentioned it in the past.

I find bittorrent awfully slow, have you tried limewire?Altough bittorent has the most files
Bittorrent is slow but I leave it running all night usually, I would never go near a P2p network again ala Limewire, Napster etc. I found it to be just as slow, you need to install the bloatware and it seems to be a target for RIAA.

After my friend talked me into trying out NewsHosting and gave me a copy of NewsLeecher I won't ever go back to torrents or anything else. I don't have fast internet I juse use Internet sharing via USB on my HTC Touch to connect to the internet and with Torrents it would take me about 7 hours to get a 1gb file. Now that I've switched to NewsGroups it's just so much faster. I can start 10gb's of download's, go to sleep, wake up in 6-7 hours and they will be finished. Once you learn how to use it and get it setup right it's really worth the price especially if you live in a small town and don't have access to movie theatres, malls, or anything like that.
