hi guys

i dont even know what this is called but i notice with some systems, people use some kind of silverish material to protect the car from vibrating. Any idea what this is called? i have a small 2 door car and soon getting a system fit in by audiobahn. the bass are 2400 watts RMS, would i need to cover the car in this silverish material or am i gonne be fine. both bass are reversed and right behind the seats. I have zero knowledge when it comes to audio so hope to learn more from here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

thanx in advance

Dynamat, Rammat, Fatmat, Brownbead, eDead, Second Skin, Peel and Seal all different types of the deadening your talking about.

And yes I would dampen the hell out of your car. It not only helps with the rattles but also kills any road noise from coming into your car.

This is my thought as well. Would be a much better box volume if you could buy the 12" version of those subs.
