this is a pic of my Fosgate T1500-1 BD How is it 1 channel when there are 2 terminals?

I notice I can't use my 1/0 guage wire kit on it because it's speaker terminals are only 8 gauge big, or do I need to buy separate wire for the subs ? Can someone explain to me how to do it.

I have a Kicker dual amp 1/0 gauge kit, just like off of ebay.

You wouldn't run 1/0 gauge wire to your subs. That amp is setup for 8 gauge wiring for your speakers. There are two terminals (1 for each speaker) but it's still a mono output.

And then as far as connecting them to the amp, just connect the pos to pos and neg to neg. There are 2 pairs purely for convenience. If there is only pair of wires connected to the amp then it will send rated power to that 1 pair, if there are 2 pairs connected it will just split it equally. I hope that made sense...

it makes perfect sense. Sorry, another STUPID newb question.... how do I get the negative hooked to each other and the positive hooked to each other on the sub. Like say the sub on the right. it has the 2 negative linked. Would I have to have some kind of splitter? Also, would it have to be 8 awg wire? THANKS A TON GUYS

That illustration is confusing him because it shows 1 (+) and 1 (-) and his amp has 2 of each. Run each subs voice coil (+)'s to the A sides (+) output and the (-)'s to the A sides (-). Do the same with the other sub into to B side of the amp. It's a mono output coming from the amp that has 2 separate terminals. It's makes wiring easier when your running large wire to your subs (physically and aesthetically).
