Are you open to other brands or only those 2? I am sure most of you can already see where I am going with this..... Dls makes some friggin' awesome subs that have tons of output but exceptionally good SQ, and they aren't something everybody has. I dig having gear nobody else does. Downside- speaker cones are somewhat plain looking and have a grille that makes you think about the NBA

i personally dont really like w7. the w7s are too typical/mainstream and there are way more great subs out there can out perform the w7. w7 is plain SQ for me, and not much of a big BOOM. I would go with the L7 and build a custom ported enclosure for that sub. You will feel satisfied with your L7 results.

have you heard a good install of a W7 yet?

there are subs that get louder than the W7

there are subs that may have better SQ than the W7.

youd be hard pressed to find a sub that does both as well as the w7 does.

my vote goes to the W7.
