I just might trade in my eclipse pro for one of these new bad boys. $700 its only 200 more then I paid for what i have now and that thing probably blows mine away any day. lol Just let me know when i can get one.

Look whats happening to the W-7 now...more of the General public is being told about all these other private companies, because they have products that are just as good, for A LOT cheaper prices.

So please tell me why someone who is suddenly introduced to RE and see's the new XXX wouldnt purchase one for the same price as a w7 and have alot better perfomance?

And as for whoever brought up the MTX 9500....a lot of companies, especially main stream, want to win the Xmax wars...so they will list Xsus or Xmech as Xmax. And if it has a BL curve that drops off quickly it may be able to push it to Xmech or w/e free air but not in an encosure. Ive yet to see my Ava 18 reach Xmax but does that me it couldnt in another daily setup?

Oh, yeah, when i first mentioned Brahma's to some of the so called "audiophiles" at my school they where like "wtf, get off that ebay shit" sound shop in gainsville becomes a dealer and they are like "hey chris have you seen these new brahmas, they will kill most stuff up at audiowaves and cost a lot less"

When i talk to people who only know mainstream companies about my 18 they are like "ascendant adio, garbage" their jaws drop when they see the movement/SQ/SPL.

When i first told my friend about RE audio he is like "ill stick with JL" he now has 4 RE 8's installed by me and loving them, and they dont even have room to breath or adiquite port area because he wanted them under his back seat. He also said RE was garbage before he got his 8's, another friend of mine got a pair of SX 12's recently....he was ****ing amazed at the shear size of them, and he hasnt even heard them yet and he wants one.

When my friend told me that he was getting 4 JL w1v2 12's plus an amp and wireing kit and componets for $1500, i told him i will get louder, sound just as good/better, and pay half the price. He called me a dumbass and always just said "come talk shit when you've actually got something in your truck" i get it installed and is beat his system by a few dB's and dropped lower... He now wants to know more about ascendant audio, i told him it would be a while before he could get some speaks, havent talked to him since the shop he worked at went out of business to tell him about Ascendants new line.

Only speck we got was "Everyone has been told that the new XXX will be $100-$150 more than the old XXX, and it is." And then now we get $700 for the 12".

If the design necessitated a pole vent, then it would have included a pole vent.

It would not have been purely a cosmetics decision.

I have no idea what relationship there is between baskets and voice coils.....

According to the info released, it is not a normal overhung motor. It uses split coil technology.

Look at the picture. I can't speak for anyone but me, but it tells me this:

IMO, this is not the XXX. It's not a big brother to the XXX. It's a vamped MT on steroids after drinking the Jekyl/Hyde serum at midnight. I think it was designed to outperform an MT so well that it easily justifies the extra money over an MT. The XXX itself was probably replace with the smaller MX line, which has gotten almost no attention.
