New wire for additional amp

Right now I am running a Kicker ZX750.1 (750 RMS) off of 4 guage for my sub. If I were to add say a 300 watt 4 channel would I have to use bigger wire or could I just run the original 4 gauge to a distro, then 4 gauge to both amps?
