Don't remember how much i paid for it, but it's given me 0 problems.

i recall getting quoted from iraggi for about 450ish plus shipping for a 240amp one for mine. with the $99 extended warranty/exchange program it was about 550 shipped. i dont remember the price but ohio gen wanted something around 600ish. Powermaster just as of the last month has gotten the nessessary supplies to make them for VW's like ours, not sure of a price for them (email scottie). HOalternators.com alty for vw's like this are retail also around 600ish iirc.

just like with BMW's and Benz's......these german cars are expsensive as hell when u want customshit under the hood (or anywhere) to them.... IF you compete you might be able to get a much better price from HOalternators.com if they fele you meet up to what they want. contact info on thier site.
