So when you coming up? Apparently no column till sat, party on friday, we can work on the alarm I guess till the column gets here.
your absolutley correct i could not accomplish a 46 with 1- 12" on 1500wrms in a trunk, either has about 200 trunk cars that ive seen in competitions, im not saying its impossible but very uncommon with that low watts. Wheres the pics of the system?
I was gunna say, shoot me a price when you get your btl //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifLol, it's on loan from the shop I work at.

They are pretty close on the crappy sound scale. I was surprised because it had a bit more tone quality and didn't have that very hard/harsh colored tone that the BTL has and the MT is even worse at. By no means am I saying this had good tone quality! It is a SPL driver, and is good at that.so your saying the 9500 sounds cleaner then the btl?
Exactly. Richards numbers are for real //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifI find this thread funny, if you don't believe the numbers I did before, so be it, but there are plenty of people who saw it, and know what it did.
FYI: it was 146.2 with the seats down in a trunk with a Memphis 1500d in a folded horn. It wouldn't break a 40 with the seats up though.
Wanna call B.S. on my 148 with a pair of 10's in a box tuned to 36hz seats up also while we're at it?
In my experiences with the two in noah's truck, granted the MTX was breif, and poorly presented to me in the first place... not sure if that was the case for you too, I'd take a BTL loaded over a 9500 ANY day. They are pretty close on the crappy sound scale. TO me the BTL is still VERY mechanical and very edgy in sound, compaired to Q or SSD but much better than a MT. It isn't a bad driver and does EXACTLY what it is ment to do, but that metallic mechanical sound just kills me... When I heard it, it sounded very reminiscant of all the subs I'd heard prior to actually learning anything about audio. I won't get really specific, as noah said it wasn't really a shining example of how it usually sounds. I'd hate to have tons of noobs running around blurting out that I said such and such about teh 95hundos and OMGZ how cud that be tru?!?!?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

They are not a bad sounding sub. I have to agree with Jason that the 9500 is much more slopy. In a trunk car, like my brothers, it sounds fine because you hardly hear the noise/sound I don't like. But, in a truck like NG's it is in your FACE...i like the sound of the BTL
Well next time, don't aim to **** my ears and let me actually hear the thing... lol. You don't have to skull **** me with EVERYTHING you put in.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifTalking about mine, or your bro's?
It has an extremely tight SPL gap, should've gotten the daily gap.
I'm interested to hear the new one, with the Inner HeatSink and more daily gap.
I think the 9500 sounds "good" when it's not being pushed to it's full limits and clipping on the amp...
