Im kind of tripping over all of the information to keep up with for this stuff. Say i had a speaker that had 150 watts max and 50 watts rms, how much wattage should my cdm or amp provide?

Most important part here is gonna be crossovers, which limits the frequencies your speakers are playing. For instance you generally don't want your door speakers playing anything 60hz or below. These frequencies take a decent amount of power and cone movement to produce accurately and you risk over excursion and the voice coils will burn up. Plus speakers that small with such little throw will not provide much bass anyways without excessive boosting in that area
What is the model of speakers you're referring to and if your have a subwoofer or not and I can help you out better.
