Please bare with me.

I have a Sony Xplod 1000w amp

4 ohms: 185 watts RMS x 2 chan

2 ohms: 200 watts RMS x 2 chan

Bridged, 4 ohms: 400 watts RMS x 1 chan

Max power output: 1000 watts

And I have a Rockford 15'' DVC sub

Each coil says 250Wrms/500Wpeak. Does that mean that my sub is 500Wrms or 250Wrms?

If I bridge it, will the amp power my sub?

Dual 2 i would run at 4 ohm i wouldn't push that sony to 1 ohm. So if you bridge at 4 ohm it should push it pretty good. I just know that those types of amps like to cut off when you bridge em. So i say just try it bridged if it starts cuttin off on you then just run it to one channel.
