I want to wire two dvc 4ohm sub woofers down to 2 ohms. I think I know how to do that, however the amp has 4 terminals which im not familiar with. I drew a very crude picture to help explain what i want to do.

Would the amp have a 2 ohm load, or does that add up to 4 ohms total?

I guess i cant post the link to my picture? So its basically each speak is wired down to 2 ohms, and then connected to one +,- terminal on the amp. Will the load be 2 ohms on the amp or 4 ohms?

if you wire each subs' vc parallel, then you will have two 2ohm subs, wiring both subs parallel in turn creates a 1ohm load. If it is a monoblock with 2 sets of speaker connections, it is for ease of connecting multiple woofers. The way you describe hooking them up will be fine on either set of connections.

Two DVC 4's won't wire to 2 ohm...

Assuming the amp is mono

hmmm, well thats no good, could i wire them to 1 ohm each and then together some how to 2 ohms? I need them to be at 2 ohms if at all possible

Recone.

That would probably just cause more problems haha. If i wired them to 1 ohm and just took it easy on the subs would they be ok? They are rated for 175 rms but at 1 ohm they would both get 400 watts.

That is if i understand amplifiers right... If i wire to 1 ohm, and my amp puts out 800w at 1 ohm it would be divided to both subs, so each would get 400w? Is that correct??

I'm sure they'll be fine on that power as long as the gains are set accordingly and it's not clipped.
