New System

http://www.adireaudio.com

They run rms @ 1000watts if I recall and can peak at **** near 3000. Am going to check that site now myself to make sure.

1600 watts rms and 4800peak. They may be slightly underpowered with 1500, but can always upgrade later on OR.........check out the Orion XTRpro 2400

Like I said 1500 will be close and will rock them, but not too full potential. Can always upgrade later on

Well if you take a gander at the Brahma's owner manual, you will see that Adire says that the 1600W is a thermal power rating, and is not a guideline or recommendation of how much power you should use on the Brahma. Basically, it's all up to your box size. You can push the Brahma to full excursion with 1300W or with 500W, depending on box. (the larger the box, the less power required to reach a certain SPL). In a 1 cubic foot sealed box, it takes 1300W at 20 hz to push the Brahma (12") to full excursion, where as it would take 800 to push it to full excursion (once again, at 20 hz) in a 2 cubic feet box. Or if you do a 2.25 cubic feet ported box, tuned to 30 hz, the Brahma will reach full excursion at 20 hz with 500W. So it's completely possible to push two Brahma's with 1500W, just be sure to build your box accordingly. (All information taken from http://www.adireaudio.com/Files/BrahmaOwnersGuide.pdf).

actually with the 6 cu ft a piece ported enclosure, the Brahma reaches its max excursion at about 500 watts or less per woofer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

With a 2.25 cu ft sealed it also takes 500 watts. it is very nice, the bigger the box, the less RMS power it takes to reach full excursion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
