i need to know some good sql subs cause i saw the poll on the car audio page and the ED is the best sub how true is that but i have heard a lot of good and bad things about alpine tipe r, hifonics goliath, mtx 9500, rl-p so i need some advice on what should i get im a a big fanatic of car audio but im not an expert

We can't suggest anything without a set of guidlines to work with ...

What size enclosure will the driver be going in and is it ported or sealed? If ported, what is it tuned to?

How much power does your amp do and at what ohm load?

How much are you looking to spend?

im thinking $600 for amp and subs or sub in a ported box the size doesnot matter i have an expedition

a 15" rl-p in a low tuned ported box, along with a nice amp should put a smile on your face.
