New System Suggestions?

Looking to upgrade my system in a 1998 gs400. Since it has stock navigation I have decided against getting an aftermarket headunit because it would require a single din climate control from another non-nav car. I am looking for a more sq setup over an spl one, but still want decent amount of loudness. I am looking into a 6.5" component system for my front 2 doors which would run off and aftermarket amp. Also a good 12" sub to put in the trunk in a sealed box (may go ported later on). I also have a 100 amp alternator and do not want to worry about my electrical being stressed or needing uprades. So far I am looking into these:

Comp: Polk db6501, Infinity Kappa 60.09cs

Sub: JL w6v2, SSA Gcon, Fi X/SSD, Alpine Type R, SA-12

Comp Amp: Alpine MRV-F300, Kicker DX200.4

Sub Amp: Alpine MRV-M500, RF R750-1D, Q1-750

I am open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Are you going to do the installation or pay a shop to do it? What's your total budget?

If you stick to Class D amps it will help the system draw less current.

you can get a Sound Qubed 1500.1 for your sub and theyre only like $270 that way you can get more power which is always also the Sound Qubed Hdc3 12 would be a good choice they hit hard and are cheap only $250 that is very good setup and itll get you a good amount of sound, then put some money into a nice box for it and youd be set

The amps are decent might want a better set of comoponents phd hertz cdt focal or somewhere in that range for subs look at the Tc lms or Dayton You'll need wires a better battery ho alt and a processor as well

The processor can wire directly thru the stock speakers wires. And will enhance the sound quality that the stock deck will lack They also allow summing of the signal and lets you change the freq slopes for the type of music that you listen to An eq just adjusts certain freq up and down that's it

Get a processor, pair of 2 way components 6.5, used amp. You don't need a ton on watts for a sub if your going to be easy on electrical and assuming at sq. 300 to 500 watts on a15 should be fine.

You may be able to get the whole setup with your budget.

160AH lithium that supports a 12K system is pretty lofty! I've seen dual 24's or quad 12's that will do this. Most of what 've run across is dual...

The Kappa's have a high sensitivity rating of 93 db so the X802-5 would be fine. A good high sensitivity 8" sub in a properly sized box would fit...
