dang those sundowns do sound good and tempting.... how much does it cost to get them reconed, and what amp should i run to power two of them??

The Sundown, AQ, DD, DC, RD are all reall good subs, you really can't go wrong with any of them.

The recones are around $100 I think, there are others that know better than me though.

You need to be realistic with your purchase though, $1K will go fast, because you need the power to back up whatever amp you get and 3kw is no small issue, you will definately need a couple good batteries, so $300 is going to batteries

you may want to think of one good sub (sundown) and the power to really push it.

YOu can get into the high 140's with one good 15 and some good power with (most important!) a good box design and install!

2 15" SDC's and a 1200D would make a killer budget trunk set up if you can make the box fit. Need 8+ cubes net tuned around 38Hz...
