It says I can do 2400w at 1ohm 1200 at 2ohms

3 " is the length of the voice coil....quad 2 ohm means 4 2ohm coils.........to wire it to 2 ohm which is what i think you said........you need to wire 2 sets of coils in parallel which gives you two 1 ohm loads and then wire those two parallel sets in series which will give you a final 2 ohm load

just go to one of the website that shows you how to do it...........you can pick your voice coil configuration and it gives you different wiring options with pictures im getting off the computer

you should really search the forum for information on capacitors. All they do is put a strain on your electrical system. the things with caps is that when say a bass note hits, it drains your capacitor almost to nothing from just one or two times of your subs hitting and you battery and alternator are then constantly trying to recharge it so it just becomes a strain on your system. Theres more info on this kind of stuff in atleast a hundred different other threads.

Don't worry everybody starts off with lower quality brands. When I bought my audiobahns 6 years ago, I thought they were top end stuff too but I realized I was wrong after about a month of owning them. It's a live and learn deal, just like everything in life.

hey buddy,dont take their inputs as theyre saying your equipments are all crap.me myself didnt want any of those,i read threads and asked people who had experiences with products.that's how you'll know a good product is or just test it yourself.these people like bumpin buick,gmcjimmylt2000 etc are guys who had an experience with those what you have..

it sounds like they're putting down your equipments but really they are helping you and letting you know more about audiobahn line.

try to send it back where bought them and ask these "sirs" about your build..PROLLY your next equipments will be better or maybe one of the BEST around..just ask the PRO'S..=)

if you still want these equipments to be installed and you want to find out about setting it to 2 Ohm,put the specs of the sub and the amp so the people will know..
