new system, need advice

I drive an '05 f-150 extended cab. Currently im using a 15" RE SX sub but I want to do a seat lift and then two 10's or two 12's under there. Someone recomended Ascendant audio for me, but i've never heard them before.

I'm basically looking for some good clean bass, that can get moderately loud...but run more along the line of SQ. Right now my RE sub hits loud and there isn't as much SQ as i'd like. What would you guys recommend?

If you like your REs except for the SQ, look at the RE SEs.

Seeing the room you have I would go for the 2 10" idea. Plenty of output and you should be able to get a very nice SQ oriented sub.

Digital Designs make a few good 10" subs that would work great.

Personally i wouldnt waste MY money and put subs under the rear seat. I'd invest in components instead. If you want more SQ. Get a XXX or something different. Id keep you the sub on the seat or however you have it setup. As of right now id have my 15'' L7 on my rear seat of my truck. Then i can fit one person in the back and one person in the passenger seat. So thats 2 people besides me so i dont have to give rides and whatever ( probably works out better for me then you )

But down the road im either gonna remove the back seat and put another L7 back there or 1 massive 18. Dont know yet.

For just the subs, i'd want to budget $400 towards them.

Also, I was considering a box from supercrewsound.com They have a setup for a single 10 or dual 10's...but i've always like building my own stuff.

The reason I dont want to keep my 15" RE sub is cause its massive and I want to take advantage of all the seating in my truck.
