I wouldn't go with the hifonics if you can afford something nicer (wish I had the cash for that IA20.1, would take it in a heartbeat). My 1606d is rated for 1600rms, but in reality I'm only seeing about 1200rms, so I wouldn't doubt that the 260Xd did only around 2kw.

I'd definately take the Sx's over the kickers, just my bias though. Also note that the SX's will take 2500+rms fine btw

Wow, and I thought the motors on the SE's were big haha

I REALLY want to hear some SX's though (I might hear yours if you ever get to that meet in akron whenever it it), worrried if they'll be enough for me, or if I should just jump to the MT's

you won't hear these....thats a XXX in the amp picture....you'll hear 2 of those and 2 20.1's

IDK. Knowing and guessing what an amp does is two different things. I've had the XX Colossus and the BX2200. Colossus rated at 2000rms @ 4 ohms, BX2200 rated at 2200rms @ 1 ohm. Ran my Eclipse Ti dual 2 with both amps, no audible difference, yet people spread the BX series is overrated. Me, I'd take the 2607 over a 20.1 so I wouldn't have to run it under 1 ohm to get 1800+rms. Now being biased, anyone can be that. SX vs CVX, IDK. Me, I'd take what was cheaper.

Nice subs/amp! I really think I've narrowed it down between the cvx's and the sx's. I need more opinions! For the amp, still trying to find the cheapest 2kw.

SE's are tiny motors

on woofersetc the cvx is 199 and the sx is 299. I still like the 2607d, I know it would push at least 2000rms easily for $400 or so.

I just hope I can find that good of a deal when I'm ready to buy the amp. If I could get it for cheaper, I'd take the US amps or the IA over the Hifonics. I'm thinking the cvx's are for me. How much power can they take?

well if you take that you can get the cvx for 199 each thats about 349 for that amp, id still rather have the md3
