New System Help...

Alright guys so im puttin together a new system to put in my 2000 Ford Taurus sedan. Right now I have 2 pioneer 3 way coax 6x8's in the front door powered by an old pioneer amp giving em each around 50 watts. I also have 2 Kicker 12" CVR's in the kicker built ported enclosure running off of a 600 watt audiobahn. I have a couple questions first.

1. How much louder are CVX's compared to CVR's?

2. Should I try to fit 6.5" comp in the front door or just stick with 5.25"?

and 3. How does this sound so far:

Subs: 2 12" Kicker CVX's in the Kicker built ported enclosure my CVR's are in now.

Mono Amp: Hifonics BXi 1606D

Wiring Kit: Kicker 05PKD1 1/0 Gauge Dual Amplifier Power kit

Component Speakers: Kicker 04SS65.2 ???? Are these any good?

2. If you dont mind cutting a little the gain i got from going to 6.5' comps from 5.25 comps was fantastic.

3. Build your own box to suit the CVX's you'll be alot happier, i promise you. Hifonics amp is a good budget choice, I'd also see how a KnuKonceptz wiring kit compares to the kicker one as far as price. And I cant comment on a good set of comps, I've been running my set for 1.5 years now so im out of the loop,lol.

Awesome man, thanks. How do you think my stock electrical system would hold up with these CVX's running off that brutus along with a nice set of comps up front? think a cap would help? if so, would 3.1 farad be sufficient or is that overkill?

Caps, imho are useless, just bandaids. I ran a BX 1600 off a stock alt and it wasnt too bad. The "Big 3" will help alot. Might get a bigger battery if you have some bad dimming.
