I have a new SUV. The stock system consists of a "155 watt 5 channel front end(Panasonic)" with 7 speakers(all Alpine), 2 tweeters in dash 4 - 6.5 in the doors and a sub in the rear. I have a Rockford Fosgate Punch 400 amp(NOT INSTALLED).
I would like to update the speakers.
I'm looking at the MB Quart QSD 216. If I'm reading correctly, this would replace the front tweeters and 2 of the 6.5" speakers.
- Which 6.5 should I replace?
- Should I upgrade the rear 2 - 6.5 with another model or just stay with the stock speakers. How important are the rear two 6.5?
- Could I/Should I use the Punch 400 to
power the MB Quarts while using the exsiting front end to power the remanining speakers? How would the cross overs work?
Any ideas would be appreaciated!!
