Maybe I miss understood, but I was under the impression Meade was running 4 RE MTs off of some of the Rockford 4kw

Well i guess nows the time to go ahead and spill the beans...im trying some new subs in the Tahoe now and all i gotta say is im VERY VERY IMPRESSED. Been thinkin of something new for a while now since im putting alot more daily power to my subs then ever....so lately ive been hearin stuff, reading, just checkin stuff out and decided to try some of these FI BTL's (all options of course). Got them last nite and dropped them in after work. Now im a hair below 1 ohm on all subs (total). The MT's ARE and ALWAYS will be great, in fact im not taking them out of my Honda but for the Hoe it was time to try something new. No other reason, the MT's were hanging to my amazement and had a solid 14 month run with no recone, just wanted to see what else is out there.
1 word.....INCREDIBLE is all i can say. I didnt meter anything yet because metering at my house in my neighborhood is completely out of the question these days. Its too loud. But between my new RF amps and some new tight subs...its clearly the loudest $h!t ive ever EVER had. My system actually hurts my body a little and i cant take it for very long but the subs arent even breaking a sweat. As time goes on i will give another review to let everone know how they are holding up to around 5,000 watts RMS each daily slammage. (on music anyway).

at first i was running half power because i smoked an amp first day at .35 ohms slamming the hell out of it. With just 2 T4k's It sounded louder than my 8 bd's and put up a huge "WINDOWS DOWN DEMO BASSRACE" score which i couldnt for the life of me do twice YET. Ever since that day i went to two more dbdrags and did the same thing with horrible starts and couldnt do it again. Anyway it dont matter what the meter says, im a demo guy these days and i KNOW that people arent gonna be ready for this one. Port is relatively small for 4 18's but then again so is the box....this puts it into a different perspective.....

Wow..Meade your truck is crazy. I'm on the Nolteaudio forum, friends with Andy (adawgbro) and Josh, and speak with John himself on occasion. So FI proves itself! Get it metered! I wish I could hear this. How is it on the lows?
