New Substage, new car.

Hey guys! I just recently got a 03 For Escape for college.

I am wanting to put together a loud substage, because I have my sq setup in my camaro.

I already have my speakers pick out, so all I am looking for is for some subs that are louder than L7's, yet sound good.

(Sorry for using the l7's as a description to what I want)

I would like to spend around 300 for each sub if thats possible. Or if one is enough thats fine too. I dont think size is a issue, two 18's may be too big, but im not sure.

Any suggestions?

I just got a new alt from iraggi, and I have not picked out a amp yet.

So power isnt a issue.

I just want bangin subs that sound good.

When you say louder then L7s, what sub setups have you heard so far? What kind of music do you mainly listen to. Also, do you want to keep your back seats/keep it under the window line? If you are i would highly doubt you could fit 2 18" subs back their ported, maybe barely if they are sealed.

Its gotta look clean. I listen to rap and rock.

But for this build rap and heavy bass is what im looking for.

It has to be below the window linem so im guess 12" or 15" subs are more for me.

The best/loudest subs I have hear are the following: JL 12w6, 12w7, Kicker L7's, Atomik Audio (Toxic) 15's, Alpine Type R, MTX 9500, MB Quarts 304, Hifonics brutus... Nothing totally highend, thats what im wanting to do with this build.

If your budget is 300 per sub, FI BLs or HDC3s may be good choices. I'm pretty sure you could fit a couple 15's ported back their (although you may need to use aeros to get it to fit).

I'd rather use aero's anyway tbh.
