I'm thinking about upgrading my 2 12'' jl audio w3's. I know jl audio is overpriced so was wondering if there is anything out there that has better sq, gets louder and is cheaper than a w7? or atleast as good as the w7 but cheaper?

I currently have a mtx 1000xd but i can upgrade that later on if necessary. I currently have a pre fab box sitting on the rear seat of my tundra, I can upgrade that later on as well. my budget is between 300-500. the lower the better as long as it sounds better and gets louder than a w7 I will be satisfied.

Whats the specs on your Prefab box?? need to know the size and if its ported whats the hz at in order to match a sub to it.

no the budget is for a single sub! the prefab i have is ported. I dont know the specs but if I need another box the prefab will only be temporary so that shouldn't be of much concern. same with the amp. it will only be temporary if i need more power.

haha you guys ****! (no offense) I dont have a lot of time on my hands for research these days. As stated above the subs I have now are sitting on the back seat of my tundra and the new ones will go in the same place. It measures 34'' long, 17'' wide 14'' high. I have plenty of room to make the box taller but not wider or longer.
