hi guys im looking at a 2001 pontiac grand am Gt and i was wonderign what subs would be good In that car i want Slp Not Sq i want people to hear me and i want my nuts to shake I have 500 to spend and i would perfer 10's

Why do you want other people to hear you? The purpose of a stereo is for YOU to hear, not to annoy everybody else that doesn't want to hear it.

ok so i wnat it for my personally enjoyment but i tried alpine type r's and i hated them .. my friend had infinity Ref. and thoes were better but i wnat something better than thoes that hit hard.

You have 500 to spend on subs and amps...or just subs?

You have quite a few choices if you have 500 for just subs. RE HC, or a single 12/15" XXX. 2 ED K Series, or 15" A series. You can pick up 2 Kicker L7's, put them in a big ported box and it should be plenty loud for "you to hear".
