New Subs for My Kicker ZX 750.1

I am going to get these Pioneer Premier 12 inch dual 2 ohm 1400 watts/400 rms subs for my Kicker ZX 750.1 amp. These subs are 400 rms watts each. Any comments on this setup? What's the best way to wire the subs so that my amp runs at 2 ohms? Also, will my Kicker ZX 750.1 amp have enough power to power these two subs? Thanks..

Those subs arent too bad, really. And yes the amplifier will power them fine. Just two things.

Why not just run CVR's? If Pioneer is your thing, go for it.

Secondly - - if you wire each sub down to 1ohm per woofer, that amp will be ran at .5ohm, not 2ohm. You need to wire the woofers to 4ohm each.

My CVRs are dual 4 ohm woofers and I am only getting a 4 ohm load at the amp. And every where in my area doesn't have dual 2 ohm CVRs. The shop I go to is going to just swap the subs for free. Also, how should I wire the dual 2 ohm subs to get a 2 ohm final load at the amp?

I got a pair of 10" L7's that get really loud for 10s, would blow those away. would match up nice on that kicker because it does around 900+ d2 also $275 shipped.

Those Premier subs should do well off that amp. Your Kicker is probably underrated, so should put out more juice than 750rms.

I ran those subs last year off an Autotek SM1000 and it did well. Not as good as my 10" Premier subs I have now, but they are the w-250spl ones and running 1700rms to them.

which way should I wire the subs in my picture above? The first way or the second?
