new sub(s)?

well i have a kid thats interested in buying my subs and amp and will give me $400 for em. Ive been wanting a 12" xxx but i will prolly only have about $300 to buy a new sub. If i cant find a used xxx for that what other good subs will give me real good sq for around $300 or less. id only get 2 subs if they were 12's or just one 12 or 1 15" thanks for the input. i would love an RE but ive also liked the R's.

you can get diamond audio d6 subs..on ebay 1 15'' is around $150-$160
